U Matter, We Care provides a comprehensive network of support resources for students in distress. Resources range from physical and mental health wellness, academic support, financial assistance, and personal safety:

Personal Safety

The University Police Department provides safety resources as part of its commitment to maintaining a safe campus environment for all.

  • Office of Victim Services: free, confidential services to provide support and guidance to those who have been a victim of a crime
  • Co-Responder Team: a crisis intervention officer and a mental health officer respond together to support a person in distress
  • Community Programs: safety and crime prevention classes for the UF community
